ABOUT PORTIA

I am originally from California, grew up in Asia and Europe and now live in Lennox Head with my wonderful husband and loving two children. I graduated from U.C. Santa Barbara with a BA in business and linguistics. After working in the corporate world for several years, I found myself fatigued and slowly gaining weight. As I made positive changes in my lifestyle, I started to share what I was learning with friends and colleagues.

Over the last 20 years I have been involved in preventative healthcare working at the Diet Centre of America as a counselor and giving family nutrition lectures at playgroups, churches, schools and corporations. I created a corporate wellness program, numerous seminars & workshops and have completed a BS in Holistic Nutrition.

Through my consultations, community lectures and living food preparation classes, my hope is to encourage people to take an active role in his or her own health. My focus is working with families using a WHOLE foods approach to help them grow and stay well together.
My recipe book “Healthy Snacks and Meals for the WHOLE Family” is now in its 3rd edition and my brand new eRecipe book – a 3 book series with over 100 recipes is ready to download. I look forward to our journey together. Portia
